A near perfect surf forecast of a 5 metre swell and 15 second period.
Scored some of my best waves in years. Shame about the weather and light. Thanks to Harry for filming. He set the camera up in a new spot and the results are a better view back across the wave.

NORTHERN IRELAND SQUAD TRAINING / 10.01.09
The first squad training of the year.
The Saturday was so windy gusting 50mph we managed to get a sheltered wave at high tide and scored a great refraction wave coming off a cliff.
Sunday didnt sound as windy from the house so we checked magharoarty and with some people already changed we got on. It was blowing a constant 30mph. As you can see it got windier as the session went on.
Big hats of to the juniors Andy,Corin,Jack and Jake for getting some gig waves .
